Just got this knife today, and have been trying it out. From what I can tell right now, it is made of pretty good steel. It came with a pretty good edge to start with, and I have been cutting fruit, cardboard, paper, everything. It still has the same edge, and I expect it will for months to come. I like the slight inward curve of the blade because it makes it easier to slice with. I have another knife with a similarly sharp edge, but without the curve, and it just tears paper where the SOG Visionary slices cleanly. I also like the Arc-Lock because it makes the knife easy to flip open, and closed. The pocket clip is also nice and fits into your pocket nicely without showing the knife. It is a fair amount heavier towards the top where I prefer it to be balanced so it "disappears" in your hand and pocket. Other than that it is a great knife!!!

i love this knife. i have a flash 2 as well, and in comparison, this knife blows it away in terms of quality and make. i will probably pick up the visionary 2 as well sometime in the future. very sleak, very sharp, very portable. awesome. sharp.
